Our team of therapists works in cozy therapy rooms, produces educational content

and offers free services for those who can´t pay.

We do that specifically by

• providing an enjoyable environment in our therapy center where EVERYONE feels welcome

• offering affordable services in counseling, speech therapy, holistic therapy, equine therapy

• granting sponsorships to those who can not afford the services

• leading weekly therapy groups and free support groups

• creating and sharing free educational material and content

• supporting educational institutions with information and mentoring.

• giving emerging therapists a professional environment to offer their services

• mentoring emerging therapists with professional supervision

💞 Yes, we do provide regular Horse Guided Empowerment® and Holistic Equine Therapy sessions for kids with special needs, for teenagers and other clients.

Therapists charge $20 for Holistic Equine Therapy sessions and $30 for Horse Guided Empowerment sessions. Recipients may receive partial or full sponsoring for their sessions through the Foundation.

Facilitators use the paddocks and herd at a private horse farm in Quiroga that is generously made available for this service. All costs related to horses are currently donated to Sin Miedo.

We are looking for responsible, self-guided, experienced volunteers to help manage the horses (brushing, feeding, paddock cleaning, training). Please send an email to fundacionsinmiedo@gmail.com if you wish to participate.

In 2023, we conducted

• 1099 sessions with children

• 724 sessions with teenagers and young adults (13-25)

• 812 sessions with adults

• 303 of the sessions were for clients with special needs

• we did 68 free group sessions

• 973 of all individual sessions received 100% or 75% sponsorship

• 589 of all individual sessions received 50% or 25% sponsorship

• we spent USD 14,680 to fund these direct services.

• November 2023 was our busiest month to date, with 288 sessions logged

💞 Christina Marz founded Sin Miedo® in 2016 with Patricia White and has been the director up to June 2024.

Since June 2024 Huaita Arrotingo was hired as director.

She deals with supply inventory, billing, deposits, client management, donor outreach, company sponsorship, product sales and inventory, accounting, contracts, agreements, team leadership, and permits.

Christina Marz is now supervising on a strategic level.
Her roles include finding and supporting strategic partnerships, strategic decisions, legal representation, grant writing, quality supervision, continuing education.

💞 The Sin Miedo Foundation does NOT receive government funding.

We are raising funds through

• Private donations

• Grants for non-profit organizations

  We also have several revenue streams to fund administration and become self-sustainable:
  

• Collecting 15% commission from affiliated therapists

• Corporate workshops for employee wellbeing

• Merchandise sales (sweatshirts, diaries, and other)

• Renting the space to independent therapists / organizations

Our paid services finance accounting, admin assistance, permits, rent, utilities, content creation and materials.

Another $19,000 was directly paid from clients to therapists for services.
